Certification of BIM experts
One Team is an ICMQ qualified examination center and has set the purpose of promoting the culture and the certification in the matter of BIM.
ICMQ allows professionals that already operate in a BIM setting to obtain a third-party certification that attests the possession of those skills that the market increasingly requests and will keep to require, thus acquiring a competitive advantage.
The certifiable professional profiles are four:
- BIM specialist: they are involved in the creation and development of the 3D model and subsequent extraction of the 2D documentation and computational data. They also perform technical analysis (of structures, systems, environmental sustainability).
- BIM Coordinator: they coordinate BIM Specialists involved in the project, to assure the application of standards and processes. Moreover, they develop and update BIM contents (libraries and standards).
- BIM Manager: manages and updates the BIM model for all the disciplines involved, managing roles and planned phases, and pinpoints interferences assigning their correction to the project’s team.
- CDE Manager: manages the data sharing environment that guarantees timeliness and accuracy of the information flow between involved parties. They apply analysis and data protection techniques, and aids the interoperability of the informative models and commission data.
